Keanu Reeves' career has entered quite the renaissance in the last decade. Most of the projects he has signed onto over the last few years has shown his range as a leading man. Whether he is a stone cold action star like we’ve seen him as the titular assassin in the John Wick movies, or if he’s just grooving around space and time like in Bill and Ted: Face The Music; he’s sure to be a joy to watch. This addiction to Keanu fueled with his recent dip back into Science Fiction through Cyberpunk 2077 has led fans of The Matrix series wanting to fill a headjack sized hole inside their hearts.

Fortunately for fans, 2021 is going to be the year that the Matrix series comes back with most of our favorites returning along with him. Fans could expect to see Trinity and Niobe to come along with him. With mysterious casting like Watchmen and Aquaman Alum Yahya Abdul-Mateen, Hamilton and Frozen star Jonathon Groff, and one of your favorite actors from How I Met Your Mother. But what about some of our other favorites like Morpheus and Agent Smith? Will the series overuse of Christ like allusions ever stop? Can the pandemic halt this movie?
