Will Smith chats with ET’s Nischelle Turner after being honored for his performance in ‘King Richard’ at the 2022 SAG Awards. Smith won Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor, and he gets teary-eyed backstage at the ceremony as he reflects on the award’s significance. ‘I'm here tonight with Saniyya [Sidney] and Demi [Singleton], the girls who play Venus and Serena, and Aunjanue Ellis, and Venus is here with her sister Isha, who's an executive producer,’ Smith said. ‘It’s all of these, all of these Black women that I get to protect and shine a light on, you know, across the generations.’ The 28th annual SAG Awards aired live on TBS and TNT on Sunday, Feb. 27.
