Fried Cornmeal Mush - Fried Polenta - Great Depression Era Recipe

How to DIY
Published on Jan 29, 2021
Leftover cornmeal mush can be sliced and fried. In Italy, it's known as polenta or fried polenta. You can eat it many different ways. Some people like to eat it for breakfast with butter and maple syrup. Grandpa likes to eat it the Italian way with some grated cheese and tomato sauce. He says it reminds him of mozzarella sticks.
